On Saturday 18th June, the Solidarity Knows No Borders network are gathering outside the Town Hall in Sheffield to protest and stand in solidarity against the hostility and racism shown towards refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants.

We will discuss, with guest speakers, our collective response to the crisis we find ourselves in.

In response to the recent passing of the nationality and borders bill, a People’s Bill has also been written – a document co-produced by people with lived experience of the immigraiton and asylum process. If our voices were heard, what could be the change?

We will be presenting our People’s Bill to the Home Office on the 17th of June, followed by this larger demo on Saturday. The bill will be linked with the Pledge Against the Anti-Refugee Laws. The information gathered will continue as a live document for inspiration when advocating for the repeal of the Nationality and Borders Act.

If you, or someone you know would like to contribute to the bill, you can complete this form. We are looking for contributions as to how we will stand together to end the hostile environment.

Please join us in this fight for justice for all – Together, we will build a world where every person is able to live in freedom, dignity, justice and abundance.
