THE ROLE OF DETENTION VISITATION PROGRAMMES IN CHALLENGING IMMIGRATION DETENTION SYSTEM
For the research project examining the role of civil society operating within the immigration detention regime, I am seeking 10 immigration removal centre visitors to interview with. I want to find out the ways in which civil society adapt to new necessities of the immigration detention regime by focusing on visitors’ relationship with their role and their relationship with immigrant detainees. The interview process will begin in May and will take place at participants’ convenience, either via Skype or face-to-face meetings.
