Unlocking Detention: a virtual tour of Britain’s immigration detention estate

Unlocking Detention is a ‘virtual tour’ of the UK’s vast immigration detention estate. It is an annual tour, using Twitter, Facebook and a website. now in it’s sixth year. The aim is to ‘unlock’ the gates of immigration detention centres, and shine a spotlight on the hidden world of immigration detention.

200 years on from the Peterloo Massacre, Manchester These Walls Must Fall campaigners joined activists fighting for disability rights, LGBTQ+ rights and climate justice as part of ‘From the Crowd’, a participatory performance weaving eyewitness accounts of the Peterloo Massacre with contemporary accounts of the struggles we are still fighting today.
